He did his PhD in Linguistics in 1980. He has worked with leading organizations involved with pioneering work in Languages mainly Sindhi like Central Institute of Indian languages, Mysore, NCPSL Delhi, C-DAC Pune etc With outstanding expertise in Sindhi, he has published over 22 books,( some of them along with other experts) generally in both scripts (Arabic Sindhi and Devnagiri Sindhi). Publishing of more books, research papers and some audio visual materials are in the pipeline.
