7 pioneers, 7 episodes! We are so so happy to share with you our labour of love, our tribute to Partition and our interpretation of it given the present times! Presenting to you "Sindhi Pathbreakers: Partition Special Series." Here's our fourth episode with the amazing pathbreaker when it comes to making Sindhi songs cool again: Vandana Nirankari. We are also honoured to have her grandfather, Bhagwandas Nirankari with us in the video here. The grandfather-granddaughter duo chatted with us about India-Pakistan partition and the difficulties faced by the Sindhi language and Sindhi people thereafter. As of today, Vandana's song 'Sik mein' has crossed over 5.1 million views and we couldn't be happier! We truly find her to be such an inspiration! So so proud of her for paving new paths :) Hope you like and enjoy the series as much as we did producing it for you :) We look forward to your feedback in the comments below. I was invited for the inauguration of the Phase 1 at the Jhulelal Tirthdham on 7th April 2019. What an absolute honour it was to witness the inauguration of the only "Sindhi dham" ever! In this vlog, I give you a tour of the dham, express what and how I feel while at the dham and also show you some interesting snippets of the Bahrano that was arranged at the adjacent Hotel Toran, as part of the inauguration of the Jhulelal temple. This vlog is in English and the Bahrano, of course, is in Sindhi. Hope you like it :) please share your feedback in the comments below :) Love & light, Bhavna Rajpal
