Prof. Michel Boivin is a historian and an anthropologist who has written several books on Sindhi Studies, and can be credited to have bring the field of "Sindhi Studies" into existence! It is also a festival that is celebrated to mark the end of winter season and with every celebration come the celebratory sweets!
